The quick and easy way to create more realistic pictures

See just how simple it is to get the best from Easy-Draw

Easy Draw adds a new twist to the well-known grid method of defining the main proportions of a drawing. The exact location of key points on the original are transferred to your drawing paper using a matching grid and cut-out template. You can also enlarge or reduce images with ease.

First slide the picture to be copied into the grid folder. It is usually easiest to tuck it in to the bottom corner of the folder.

Sometimes, though, you may want to adjust the picture under the grid to avoid certain key points being hidden by the wide blue bars.

Insert your drawing paper into the template.

Start by looking for the key points on the picture such as corners or ends of lines.

Use the corresponding squares on the template to transfer the points/curves to your picture. The grid has three weights of lines to help find the corresponding squares on the cut-out template, or the exact position within one of them.

When you have finished drawing enough reference points or lines, remove the paper from the template. You can then “join the dots” confident that you have the overall proportions correct.

You can use Easy-Draw to Reduce or Enlarge your picture.

Simply halve or double the number of squares you count on the template relative to the position on the grid.

The folder for the original has two different grids: the front one matches the template 1:1; the one on the back is 66% which allows for different ratios of enlargement or reduction.
